This is not a duplicate. quote: "I noticed that when I place a component on the circuit and then I undo the action the program crashes immediately". The other bug is about a segfault after a certain action. This bug is about xcircuit crashing immediately after starting.

Also segfaults at start on architecture i686, xcircuit 3.7.51-1.
Libraries as in the original bug report.

I have the same problem (x86_64), but if I downgrade tk and tcl to 8.5.13 and rebuild xcircuit, it can be started without crashing.
