Description:
The bluez package in its current form does not allow for tethering with mobile devices (iPhone, Android smartphones etc.)

Steps to reproduce:
Try to tether through Gnome and NetworkManager

Solution:
The attached patches must be applied to the source. Attached patched PKGBUILD.

Could you link to the upstream patches or give their sha1's. Is there a discussion somewhere where it is explained why this is needed and why it is ok to backport?

As there was a new revision of the Arch package I tried to use that again. But it looks like the patches are not yet included. Any idea when we can rely on the Arch package again? Thank you!
