I confirm this problem. However, the volume effects are still recognized with mlt-git (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/mlt-git), so there's probably something missing in the upstream release that is present in the development snapshot...

We can't make any title, the ok button doesn't work

With mlt-git cannot open my previous project, application freezes.
"ok" button doesn't work too, but fade(audio) effect in new project work correctly )

for me, last version of mlt and mlt-git give lot of problems (like memory leak when rendering files)
@biginoz : same problem with last version of mlt. Downgrade to mlt 0.8.8-4 solved the problem for me (as recommanded in kdenlive site)

Both the audio effects and adding title work for me with the following packages:
- mlt 0.9.0-5
- kdenlive 0.9.6-2

Could you still reproduce this problem?

On the new version of a package, this problem will not be repeated by me.
All work fine
Thanks
