Details

Description:
I failed to complete the following upgrade:

community/pd 0.43.4-1 -> 0.44.3-1

as the new version of pd contains binaries of portaudio:

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
pd: /usr/include/pa_jack.h exists in filesystem
pd: /usr/include/pa_linux_alsa.h exists in filesystem
pd: /usr/include/portaudio.h exists in filesystem
pd: /usr/lib/libportaudio.a exists in filesystem
pd: /usr/lib/libportaudio.so exists in filesystem
pd: /usr/lib/libportaudio.so.2 exists in filesystem
pd: /usr/lib/libportaudio.so.2.0.0 exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

I'm not sure if the portaudio in use of pd was patched, but pd does not provide the pkgconfig file of portaudio, so it may not just provide portaudio.

I also tried force-uninstalling portaudio, install new pd, and run some programs that depends on portaudio, this just works flawlessly.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
pd 0.44.3-1
