Description: GIMP crashes when selecting gradient while creating a logo

* config and/or log files etc.: n/a


Steps to reproduce: (e.g.)
Click File > Create > Logos > Cool Metal
Select a font
Select a different gradient to the default
GIMP crashes at this point

Confirmed. Crashes here as well. x86_64.

These people here have the same problem on PCLinuxOS, so even though it seems it works fine on Windows, this might be mainstream. Also note that this problem is due to the gradient seletor of script-fu.
For exaple:
Click File > Create > Logos > Comic Book
And change the default gradient.

This seems to be an upstream issue. Please report it upstream to the gimp developers and include an url to the ticket here if you wish to follow the issue here as well. Thanks.

This was fixed in 2.8.6, the report I submitted was a dup. - https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=696240

I can confirm that 2.8.6 works for me. :-)
