I get seem to get infinite output by journalctl (stopped searching after around 100 MB of text)

It starts putting out older logs again at

journalctl| wc -l didn't return anything, event not after around a minute of waiting.

I backed up/moved var/log/journal which seems to have 'solved' the issue.
