This isn't a srcpac issue. It's a makepkg issue and should be fixed now (if I understand the issue correctly) - Jason, do new makepkg changes require srcpac changes?

Because srcpac is just a wrapper, it only needs to be changed if a) the arguments to makepkg change or b) some core functionality to the build process changes (like adding -arch to package files).

a) Kinda did, though I don't know if they'd affect srcpac.

Is this an issue anymore? I know we need updates to tools like this, but I think Aaron is right in stating it was a makepkg issue.
