Description:
Segfault when starting to scan image

Additional info:
sane 1.0.23-5
xsane 0.998-5

Steps to reproduce:
Run xsane, select a scanner (HP ScanJet 2400c) leave the settings default and then press Scan.
The app crashes with "Segmentation Fault". I run it with gdb and found the problems happens
in the libsane-genesys.so.1 (part of sane package).

(gdb) run
Starting program: /usr/bin/xsane
warning: no loadable sections found in added symbol-file system-supplied DSO at 0x7ffff7ffa000
warning: Could not load shared library symbols for linux-vdso.so.1.
Do you need "set solib-search-path" or "set sysroot"?
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]
Using host libthread_db library "/usr/lib/libthread_db.so.1".
[New Thread 0x7fffdda69700 (LWP 13276)]

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

BUT:
scanimage -d genesys --format tiff --mode Color --resolution=300 > image.tiff
works well!

Please try to move .xsane in your home directory, sometimes config is not working anymore.
