Description:
The Sage backend of Cantor doesn't work with Sage versions >=5.8: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=316299 There is a patch by the Cantor maintainer fixing this: https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=80071 I know Arch's policy is not to apply patches that have not been merged upstream, but please consider applying this one since: - It is by the Cantor maintainer himself - Without it the Sage backend is totally broken - The reason it hasn't been merged upstream yet is that he needs to add a fallback for Sage<5.8, which is irrelevant for Arch (the version in [community] is 5.9) Fedora has also applied this patch to their packages |
