Details

in udev 068-4 /sbin/path_id has the following line:

PATH=/lib/klibc/bin #/usr:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin

but:

$ ls /lib/klibc
ls: /lib/klibc: No such file or directory

This leads to errors like:
Nov 29 14:56:46 jupiter udev[4439]: run_program: '/sbin/path_id /block/sdd'
Nov 29 14:56:46 jupiter udev[4420]: run_program: '/sbin/path_id' (stderr) '/sbin/path_id: line 272: sed: command not found'

do you run udev 076?
the place has changed to /lib/udev/

No, I am running 068-4 which is the latest that is in 'current'. I don't run testing.
