Cairo can be used to manage the desktop session, juste like one can use openbox/gnome session. According to this page (http://glx-dock.org/ww_page.php?p=Cairo-Dock%20Session&lang=en ), simply adding the cmake flag -Denable-desktop-manager=yes will build the required session file. |

I know, and I already tried it and encountered issues, that's why it's not included in the package. Compiz now dropped to AUR is another reason not to include this in our official repo. I may have another look at it later, but feel free to create an AUR package in the meantime.
