Details

Description: The version of the package in trunk needs to be rebuilt so that the shapefil.h header has the correct permissions.

Additionally, the fix to include CFLAGS needs to be changed to something like:
sed -i -e s:'-fPIC':"${CFLAGS} -fPIC": Makefile
