It seems like the latest libimobiledevice (1.1.5-1) and gfvs-afc (1.16.2-1) updates have removed the ability to mount iphones for me. Prior to the update, I could mount the device with gvfs-mount and ifuse.

Additional info:
Additionally, mounting the device with ifuse appears to work correctly, but the mount directory is inaccessible, and the rights for the mount directory all read '?'.

Steps to reproduce:
pacman -Suy

I can confirm this too. I realized that I had problems mount my ipod touch 2nd generation (iOS 4.2) just after i reinstall my Arch Linux a couple days ago.

I can confirm this too. I live in this tool I copy my music directly through Idownload software and listen to them , no I'm not able to access the iphone apps at all. I keep receiving "Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)" I tried everything but nothing worked. Hopefully the GM of Arch can solve it ASAP :(

I have an iPhone 3GS and I did the following and got the log:
1. sudo usbmuxd -fvv
2. plug in the iPhone
3. wait a moment until I got the error messages
4. then plug it out

I attached the log in the attachments, in which we can saw 'connection_teardown' there and then usbmuxd automatically disconnected the device.
Ifuse dig not work as well. When mounting, no errors were reported but when I chdir into it I got 'Transport peer not connected.'

I cannot mount my iphone 3GS (5.1.1) either.

Is there any more data necessary to resolve this bug?

gvfs needs patching for this. Working on it.

Same problem with gvfs 1.18.3-1 and libimobiledevice 1.1.5-2.

Specifically, I get

traps: iphone-set-info[9313] general protection ip:7f99a23bde96 sp:7fffdb8f0510 error:0 in libimobiledevice.so.4.0.1[7f99a23b2000+1a000]

When I try to open my iphone with banshee. ifuse works, but nautilus doesn't show anything.
