DetailsDescription:
primus is primary used with bumblebee to offload 3D rendering from IGP to a external NVIDIA GPU. You can use nouveau to this but it's too slow for the majority of games, so it's better to use nvidia binary blob to offload graphics rendering. You can use a primus and nvidia blob with a 64-bit application, but you can't install it on lib32 since lib32-primus explicit depends on lib32-mesa-libgl instead of lib32-libgl (that the binary blob provides). Additional info: * (lib32-)primus-20130425-1 Steps to reproduce: Install lib32-nvidia-utils and lib32-nvidia-libgl. Now try to install lib32-primus. You will have a conflict because lib32-primus depends on lib32-mesa-libgl instead of lib32-libgl. You can install primus and nvidia x64, though. |

This conflict is on purpose. Lib32-nvidia-libgl is supposed to be replaced.
