Description:
When i start transmisison, it loses all preferences Additional info: * package version(s) 2.77 (14031) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Change preferences and restart transmission |
This task depends upon
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=162223
When I do file -bi on setting.json I get this:
application/octet-stream; charset=binary
When I do it on my Fedora installation running 2.77 as well I get this:
text/plain; charset=us-ascii
So it looks like it may be some kind of file encoding problem. The directories names get saved with odd messed up characters like you get when you view Unicode text without the appropriate font.
The default locations are all screwed up. Right after removing the config file:
"download-dir": "/home/felipec/en_US.UTF-8",
"incomplete-dir": "/home/felipec/en_US.UTF-8",
"watch-dir": "/home/felipec/`7",
