Details

Description:

When I open a video flash on a web like youtube( on youtube this error doesn't appear), the flash video doesn't open to fullscreen and I need to reload the page, for see the movie on windowed mode.


Additional info:
* package version(s): flashplugin 11.2 and firefox 20
* config and/or log files etc.


Steps to reproduce:

Open a flash video for example on animeid.tv
Try to open the video on fullscreen
Nothing happens
Reload the page on firefox for see the video on no maximized mode
This errors doesn't happen with flash pepper on google chrome or others navigators like midori.

report this upstream to gnome-shell. usually if full screen doesn't work, i do alt+tab until i find the flashplayer in fullscreen.

There's a workaround.

1. Install devilspie - pacman -S devilspie
2. Create a file "~./devilspie/flash-fullscreen-firefox.ds" with the following content:

(is (application_name) "plugin-container")
(begin (focus)
)
)

3. Make devilspie autostart by creating a file "~./config/autostart/devilspie.desktop" with the following content:

[Desktop Entry]
Name=devilspie
Exec=devilspie
Type=Application
StartupNotify=no
Icon=gtk-fullscreen

Then you're ready to go :)
