Dolphin not able to display thumbnails for .exe files when Preview is enabled

Open directory with .exe files.
   kioclient (11.9 KiB)
   ktraderclient (10.6 KiB)

I'm confused here. Which preview do you expect from executable files?

You need to install icoutils to make that preview work.
