Description:
In gnome 3.8.1 (as of the time of writing the version aviable in the stable repos) if the desktop is locked while the accounts are online when getting back to the desktop the top right status icon (the one next to the user name) changes to offline (gray with an X ) even if I'm still connected.

Steps to reproduce:

Go online with the online accounts, lock the screen, go back to the desktop.

After restarting the shell the icon goes back to online, still the issue remains after locking the screen.

Apparently the issue presents itself only when there are extensions enabled, so far I've found three that triggers this: Weather, Caffeine and Media player indicator.
