Description:
The recent version of wine won't start any application, including winecfg, and reports:

/usr/bin/wine: error while loading shared libraries: libwine.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

ldd returns:

ldd /usr/bin/wine
linux-gate.so.1 (0xf77ab000)
libwine.so.1 => not found
libpthread.so.0 => /usr/bin/../lib/libpthread.so.0 (0xf7786000)
libc.so.6 => /usr/bin/../lib/libc.so.6 (0xf75d7000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xf77ac000)

The libwine.so library seems to be missing in the package.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.
1.5.30-1, i686
Wine runs in a dedicated, fully updated i686 chroot. Removing local ~/.wine directory doesn't make any difference.

Steps to reproduce:
Run winecfg in a terminal.

This affects the multilib version as well.

It is a duplicate of  FS#35190

We must have sent our reports at the same time. Minutes before submitting, there still hadn't been any wine bug reported whatsoever.

bohoomil, you are right, and my comment is just informational one, without any claims, of course :)

Actually it's a duplicate of  FS#35189 .
Other duplicates so far:  FS#35190 ,  FS#35191  and  FS#35192 .

Ugh.. For some reason rss2 feeder hasn't reported  FS#35189  (87, 88, 90, 91,..).

RSS2 feeder didn't report it because this bastard had been testing it before release… :p
