Wine 1.5.30-1 appears to be broken. Attempting to run /usr/bin/wine results in missing libwine error. Anything from "wine notepad" to "winecfg". Was not fixed by reinstalling the package.

Additional info:
* package version(s) - wine 1.5.30-1

Steps to reproduce:
Install + run wine.

Sorry - forgot to mention this is Wine x86_64, so it's from [multilib]. Haven't got a 32bit machine to test the 32bit Wine.

There is already an upstream fix
I included it in a PKGBUILD as a suggestion for wine-1.5.30-2 until upstream releases a new version that includes this fix (wine-1.5.30-1 is not really of any use as it is now).

Joe I confirmed this bug on a 32-bit processor box. Wine totally breaks. Dear Daniel the dash-2 interim build is an excellent idea.

(Off-topic: Arch pls promote wine-mono, AUR -> community, ref 2.2 GiB rqmt for compilation.)
