I discovered this while attempting to copy a Cd for the first time since upgrading to the 2.6.14 kernel in testing. This should be a rather simple task in K3b, but i get a error about /temp/kde-uname doesn't have enough freespace, upon checking this, it does appear to only have 250mb free. the odd part is that /tmp is NOT on a seperate partition, and the drive itself has 100GB free. As i said, this has worked before, and i do run from /testing if any package there could have caused this, I appologize if this isn't the correct channel for this, but IRC doesn't seem to have any ideas. This paticular time it is fairly easy to get around by change k3b's temp location, but my worry lies in the "what if" areas of later. Thanks

Are you aware that Arch uses tmpfs for /tmp per default?

0.7.1 does not use tmpfs by default, so this problem will not be present for fresh installs.
