It seems that .ps viewing is broken in many viewers (tested in evince and okular), because of this release.

Apparently we'll have to wait August before the next release.

Waiting for that, can you apply the commit fix to the package ?

This is a rather huge commit that is claimed to fix it. That much more than we allow to apply to a stable release.

Feel free to abs + patch it yourself or wait for a new release.
