Details

Description:
Just installed (reinstalled as well) the pdns authoritative server software (i'm aware that they split the recursion part into a separate package).
The default configuration that follows have one line containing:

allow-recursion-override=yes

First of all it should be:

allow-recursion-override=on

According to the comment line above, also the default configuration from pdns them selves states so even tho i'm aware that both works (i couldn't care less about that fact tho but thought i should mention it).

Next up i get the following error:

May 7 16:19:51 localhost pdns[15425]: Fatal error: Trying to set unexisting parameter 'allow-recursion-override'

Simply un-commenting the line works and the server carries on as it should.
My first guess would be that this now days belongs in the recursion software, but i couldn't find any documentation in the change-log that this is a fact.

Additional info:
* package version(s): 3.2, compiled on Mar 28 2013, 00:14:23 with gcc version 4.7.2

Steps to reproduce:

1: pacman -S pdns
2: /etc/rc.d/pdns start | systemctl start pdns
3: cat /var/log/errors.log | grep "allow-recursion-override"

Crappers, can't find any edit button for this report.
Correct version of pdns should be 3.2-5 (considering that there are some patches done)

Here's some others:

* lazy-recursion
* use-logfile
