Description:

pppd has two ways to log its status:
1) stdout : This can be disabled with the nolog option.
2) syslog() : This is hardcoded and cannot be disabled.

The systemd .service file uses the nodetach option so pppd does not fork but this causes duplicated log entries in systemd journal because everything is logged twice (both stdout and syslog()).
Passing the nolog option (in addition to nodetach) to pppd fixes this.

Steps to reproduce:

systemctl start ppp@foo.service
journalctl _SYSTEMD_UNIT=ppp@foo.service
