Description:
gdk-pixbuf2 2.28.1-2 is missing a patch added just after 2.28.1 released.

Without it, libpixbufloader-sgv.so is not built and some svg icons are missing in pretty much every gnome applications.

The SVG loader is in the librsvg package. That patch just suppresses some compiler warnings.

Yes you're right.

The full story :
Since the libpng-1.6 I was missing some icons in Gnome-Shell, Nautilus, epiphany and others applications.
I had a lot of log like these :
(gnome-shell:6082): St-WARNING **: Failed to load /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/running-indicator.svg: Format d'image non reconnu (= Image format not recognized)

(gnome-shell:6082): St-WARNING **: Failed to load /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/panel-button-highlight-wide.svg: Format d'image non reconnu
** (epiphany:6588): WARNING **: ephy_removable_pixbuf_renderer_init(): L'icône « window-close-symbolic » n'est pas présente dans le thème
so I digged a little, found the patch, rebuild the package with it, re-logged in and then the icons were back.
So I must have missed something but I'll never know what it was.
