Steps to reproduce:
just start netctl from systemctl with profil containing a '-'

Severity:
according to systemd irc channel just renaming the profil is not good solution because this small bug sound to be something more deep.

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  This is a usage thing.

Additional note: you needn't enable a profile to start it.

I don't see a bug. Usage 'with systemctl' is not supported and the 'with netctl' case doesn't seem to fail at all!

oops. I wanted to start netctl profil like a netcfg one.
"netctl enable wireless-wpa" convert the '-' to the right things.
