Description:

Russian translation is 30-40% in the current build.

Downloaded .po from projects.gnome.org and fed it into system.
Things became great.

Please rebuild it with up-to-date translation.

Can you please provide the steps you did to improve the translation? Are the files you downloaded on the 2.1.8 release?

Used this one https://l10n.gnome.org/vertimus/easytag/master/po/ru . From https://l10n.gnome.org/module/easytag/ .
Then, converted it to easytag.mo and put to /usr/share/locale/ru/LC_MEASSAGES/easytag.mo .

sizes:
81931 easytag.mo.old
112490 easytag.mo

Also, some screens are attached. In current stable repo build even 'File'-menu isnt translated 'enough'.

These files belong to the provided tarball. You will need to wait for the next Easytag upstream release to get them shipped in Arch Linux.

okay, seems legit. you are the boss.

.xz with version 2.1.8 from official site contains ru.po dated 2012-30-11.
so, no claims to Arch.
