Details

Description:
Pypy version 2.0beta2.63547 won't work because of the incorrect dependency openssl. It requires libssl-0.9.8 but it only depends on an unspecified version. After installing openssl098 from AUR it works.

error message:
pypy: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.0.9.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Steps to reproduce:
Install pypy without openssl098 and run pypy.

Cannot reproduce. You are probably using some old version of something else with pypy. Post output of lddtree $(which pypy)

Whoa, got it. I had an old pypy binary inside my ~/bin ... Forget this bugreport.

Why is your PyPy inside /home/alex/bin/? Also it says version 1.7.0.
