After upgrading to gnome 3.8, the background of my conky became black. It works correctly before with gnome 3.6, after gnome 3.8 update (without any other change) the default happen. Adding these lines to my conkyrc will partially solve the problem, but with these lines images are not correctly printed : own_window_argb_visual yes own_window_argb_value 255 Additional info: * package version(s) conky 1.9.0-1 |

That smells like a Gnome bug as far as I am concerned. You should report it upstream. We'll be happy to include a fix in our packages when one is known.
