Modemmanager / systemd creates this log entries on my system:
Apr 25 17:59:01 pc2007 dbus[374]: [system] Activating via systemd: service name='org.freedesktop.ModemManager1' unit='dbus-org.freedesktop.ModemManager1.service'
Apr 25 17:59:01 pc2007 dbus[374]: [system] Activation via systemd failed for unit 'dbus-org.freedesktop.ModemManager1.service': Unit dbus-org.freedesktop.ModemManager1.service failed to load: No such file or directory. See system logs and 'systemctl status dbus-org.freedesktop.ModemManager1.service' for details

[stefan@pc2007 ~]$ systemctl status dbus-org.freedesktop.ModemManager1.service
Loaded: error (Reason: No such file or directory)
Active: inactive (dead)

You will probably have to enable ModemManager.service first. That file has an alias for dbus-org.freedesktop.ModemManager1.service.

Indeed. It now has to be enabled to be available.
