Detailswvsteams needs a patch to work with pci winmodems.. atleast the smartlink ones
(Error: Cannot open /dev/ttySL0: Cannot get information for serial port.) I googled, and found that gentoo has patches. So I set off to apply the patch and compile found that it wont compile without ogg and speex disabled. So please patch wvstreams with the attached patch so that it works with internal modems properly. (and add --without-speex --without-ogg to configure line so that it compiles or pls find some patches.. I don't know the use of ogg and speex support) Attached: wvstreams-4.0.2-linux-serial.patch taken from gentoo |
