Detailsnssov [1] is a replacement for nslcd from nss-pam-ldap, and can also replace nscd. It has a number of benefits over the other nss/pam libraries and daemons.
Please consider adding support for this, or the whole contrib directory. At least for nssov, looking at the linkages, I don't see any new dependencies. [1] http://www.openldap.org/devel/gitweb.cgi?p=openldap.git;a=blob_plain;f=contrib/slapd-modules/nssov/README;hb=HEAD |

Doesn't it depends on nss-pam-ldap? I'm asking because I don't use and am not familiar with openldap. I usually update it because it's orphaned.

There's a few files copied from nss-pam-ldapd into nssov directory, so it's not a build time (nor runtime) dependency.

openldap-2.4.35-2 in [testing] has nssov support. Please test and let me know if it works.
