DetailsDescription:
See http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=12730 Basically, clang 3.2 is affected (*possibly* 3.1 but i'm not sure), which results in all binaries built that use C++11's std::thread to, at runtime, crash on a pure virtual method call. Meaning it's impossible to compile any apps that use that feature. clang doesn't seem to have bug fixes release, contacting other distros to backport this fix (seen at the end of the linked report, in the svn revision), as it's pretty severe and means it is broken until 3.3 is out. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: linked bug report says all you need to know to repro. |
