Description:

epspdf fails to run due to

/usr/bin/epspdf:238: invalid multibyte escape: /^\xc5\xd0\xd3\xc6/

It seems to be incompatible with ruby 2.0.

ruby: 2.0.0_p0-1

Steps to reproduce:

Run epspdf on any eps file.

Steps to solve:

change first line in epspdf to
#!/usr/bin/env ruby-1.8
and install ruby1.8 from aur

This bug is partly fixed with texlive-pictures release 2012.29680-1.

However, the /usr/bin/epspdf symlink has to be changed to point to /usr/share/texmf-dist/scripts/epspdf/epspdf.tlu instead of the old ruby version of epspdf.

Sorry for the bug title btw. I must have missed the field on submit and can't change it now.
