DetailsDescription:
There is currently a conflict between "nvidia-304xx-utils" and "mesa-libgl". "nvidia-304xx-utils" is a dependency of "nvidia-304xx" and "mesa-libgl" a dependency of "bumblebee". Thus, one cannot use bumblebee with the 304xx drivers. Since new NVIDIA driver releases sometimes come with new bugs, being able to fallback to a previous "stable" driver would be quite useful for bumblebee users. Additional info: * package version(s): bumblebee (3.1.6) Steps to reproduce: Try to install nvidia-304xx with bumblebee. > "nvidia-304xx-utils and mesa-libgl are in conflict (libgl). Remove mesa-libgl?" |

The legacy drivers are indeed not bumblebee ready. Internally we agreed to keep the old drivers as they are. I'm not running the legacy drivers so I couldn't test the proposed changes. Bumblebee should only be used in conjunction with the nvidia package for now.
