Details1. python2-dbus package is required to use the "--newtab" command line option, which opens a new tab in an already running instance of meld.[1]
2. The whole gnome-python package is not needed for the optional Gnome integration. Only python2-gconf used to read and store some settings in GConf. So please modify the optional dependencies: optdepends=('pygtksourceview2: syntax highlighting' 'python2-dbus: open a new tab in an already running instance' 'python2-gconf: gnome integration') [1] It was introduced in this commit: https://git.gnome.org/browse/meld/commit/?id=e08baf625ba002e1c6f6ea46d9222bc3e1ec289a |
