On aur.archlinux.org the german translation for register/sign up and login is the same (Anmelden).
It is correct that anmelden can be understand as both but I would prefer to have two different captions for two different actions.
I would recommend "Registrieren" or "Account erstellen" for register and "Anmelden" or simply "Login" for login.
I hope that bug reports for aur can be reported here.
