Detailsafter upgrading xf86-input-synaptics (1.6.3-2 -> 1.7.0-1) i can't launch syaptics settings from the systemtray anymore, and trying to start it from KDE systemsettings, those segfault (didn't copy the error, but can re-create it if that would be helpful).
i'm running KDE 4.10.2 from [testing], btw. downgrading xf86-input-synaptics to the previous version solves the problem. |

Gentoo carries this patch in its ebuild (as synaptiks-0.8.1-removedfeatures.patch)
