Summary and Info:
In KDE 4.10.1 the Horos Background wallpaper works, but after updating to KDE 4.10.2 I get a black background - choosing other wallpapers works fine.

Screen resolution is 1920x1080

Steps to Reproduce: Update to KDE 4.10.2, then previous Horos wallpaper is no longer the screen background. Right clicking on the screen and selecting Default Desktop Settings and choosing other backgrounds works as soon as "Apply" is clicked - but this does not work for the Horos background.

It seems that this occurs only if the KDE pacman update is executed with the user logged in - on a second machine updating with no users logged in does not reproduce this bug. However it is now necessary to know how to fix the problem that occurred for the background being unable to appear for the user who was logged in whilst the update took place?

On a third machine I updated whilst logged in - the wallpaper went black and then I reset it to Horos before logging out and back in and all was well.

However the bug remains that updating whilst logged in to KDE gives a loss of wallpaper background image which remains after rebooting and logging back in. There needs to be both a fix and a recovery workaround for users who hit this problem.

After poking around I found a fix:

rm -fr /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER/plasma-wallpapers/usr/share/wallpapers/Horos

Then that same background can be applied without any further problem.

However the original bug remains even though there is a work around if you hit the bug. Seems to be related to upstream bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300708

Since the bug is already being tracked upstream, I'm going to close this bug then. Not a packaging bug nor a bug we should patch.
