I run a program that uses fanotify. This did not work as the kernel option FANOTIFY_ACCESS_PERMISSIONS is not set. I re-compiled the kernel and it is working now fine. So the question would be to enable the option for the kernel. Additional info: * package version(s) kernel 3.8.4-1-ARCH, 32bit * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Try to install avg from GriSoft: http://free.avg.com/us-en/download.prd-alf |

Added to trunk of linux and linux-lts next kernel will have support for it.
