Description:
I run a program that uses fanotify. This did not work as the kernel option FANOTIFY_ACCESS_PERMISSIONS is not set. I re-compiled the kernel and it is working now fine.
So the question would be to enable the option for the kernel.

kernel 3.8.4-1-ARCH, 32bit

* config and/or log files etc.

Added to trunk of linux and linux-lts next kernel will have support for it.
