DetailsDescription: after upgrading the kernel today, wired network didn't show up anymore. i was using r8168-all from AUR at the time (going to report that too), so i installed r8168 from [community] instead, but pacman wasn't able to build the module:
depmoding kernel /boot/vmlinuz-linux: depmod: FATAL: could not create module /boot/vmlinuz-linux:: No such file or directory depmoding kernel x86 depmod: FATAL: x86: not absolute path. depmoding kernel boot depmod: FATAL: boot: not absolute path. depmoding kernel sector depmod: FATAL: sector: not absolute path. error: command failed to execute correctly switching to r8169 solves the problem to some extent, but my NC has problems with it. would appreciate if r8168 could be re-built... |
