Until the updates a weeks ago when mariadb started to replace the old mysql database, amarok throws an error any time at startup. Upstream said that the problem is that amarok needs the full mariadb (libmariadbclient, mariadb, mariadb-clients) Additional info: Amarok version 2.7.0-4 Steps to reproduce: Without manually full installing mariadb, run amarok on any up-to-date ArchLinux |

Additional comments about closing: amarok already depends on mariadb, so the whole MariaDB is installed.
