Details

Description:
Until the updates a weeks ago when mariadb started to replace the old mysql database, amarok throws an error any time at startup. Upstream said that the problem is that amarok needs the full mariadb (libmariadbclient, mariadb, mariadb-clients)

Steps to reproduce:
Without manually full installing mariadb, run amarok on any up-to-date ArchLinux

Additional comments about closing:  amarok already depends on mariadb, so the whole MariaDB is installed.

amarok 2.7.0-4 already depends on mariadb...so what's the bug?

the bug is that it just depends on mariadb package, and for it to not to throw the error I reported on the image and not to be (really) unstable, it requires "libmariadbclient" and "mariadb-clients" aswell, as upstream told me. This packages are not installed as an amarok dependency and when I manually installed them amarok was stable and not buggy again.
