DetailsThe Package Search on the home page has a couple of bugs in the typeahead suggestion.
Firstly, the drop-down list doesn't respond to mouse clicks (i.e. the text box isn't populated with the appropriate text). Secondly, the keyboard navigation in the drop-down menu skips every other item. This means that (depending on how many items are in the list) there are some items that are permanently inaccessible. I am however experiencing the second and third issue.
As for the first bug: I've tried every way I can think of to click the items, but nothing works. The links are highlighted on mouseover, and the menu closes on click, but the text box stubbornly refuses to populate. I assume it must have something to do with the menu being implemented as a list of links, rather than just a normal drop-down menu.
On the Archlinux home page, typeahead suggestions do not work at all for me with Firefox - I just get a standard drop-down history of previous entries. However, with webkit-based browsers, everything works as expected (except for the first problem).

I just want to type in the damn search query, not use the arrow keys or click in the suggestions (which doesn't work for me - first bug of this ticket).
Firefox 23.0, but happened in 22 too.
