I double checked it, still doesn't works for me. (Both in Xmonad and Gnome)

But after I downgraded to icedtea-web (java6), then it works.

Any other information I need to provide?

sry. icedtea-web can only work with openjdk ver.7 - ver6 isn't anymore part of ArchLinux.

a -Syu should remove openjdk6 and replace it fully with openjdk7 jre + icedtea-web. then it should work.

I downgraded icedtea-web with this package. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/downgrade/

I know ver6 is not part of Archlinux now, but because v7 doesn't work for me, so I downgraded them (icedtea-web, openjdk6)

sounds like a user configuration issue to me. please discuss it in our forum/irc. ask to reopen if you prove it to be a bug.
