DetailsDescription:
Since skype 4.1.0.20-3 [1], libQtWebKit.so.4 is not installed to /usr/share/skype/lib/ anymore on 64-bit systems. This makes skype print the following message on startup: ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/share/skype/lib/libQtWebKit.so.4' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored. `locate libQtWebKit.so` shows some results, what is this LD_PRELOAD used for? Version 4.1.0.20-5 is still affected. [1]: https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/commit/trunk?h=packages/skype&id=ff39b1b6cae8a057879aa90a25c61d00c8e627b7 |
