Gnuplot error under octave

Additional info:
gnuplot 4.6.2-1
octave 3.6.3-2

Steps to reproduce:
open octave
> plot([1,2,3]) or plot(anything)
Example:
octave:1> plot([1,2,3])
Expected X11 driver: /usr/bin/gnuplot/4.6/gnuplot_x11
Exec failed: Not a directory
See 'help x11' for more details

gnuplot> nset obj 1;
^
line 2: invalid command
octave:2>
