Description: I have a tp-link-wn722n

ID 0cf3:9271 Atheros Communications, Inc. AR9271 802.11n

In the kernel 3.7.10-1 or 3.8.3-2 (kernel previous i don't know) when I use hostapd with any configuration file, there is a failure to put the wifi in AP mode (mode master)

Using the kernel-lts (3.0.68-1, 3.0.69-1) hostapd does not fail to put the wifi into AP mode (mode master). All works fine

I have the same problem with ct-wn4320z 0ace:1211 ZyDAS ZD1211 802.11g

Additional info:
* package version(s):
linux 3.8.3-2
linux-lts 3.0.69-1
linux-firmware 20121118-1

* config and/or log files etc.

interface=wlan0
driver=nl80211
