After using the network for some time (a few minutes at high rate) error messages start to appear in the kernel log: Mar 18 19:12:08 silencio kernel: DMA: Out of SW-IOMMU space for 65536 bytes at device 0000:00:1a.0 The problem appeared when upgrading to linux-3.8.2 (from 3.7.10-1). It is fixed in the kernel git upstream by this commit: https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/stable/linux-stable.git/commit/?id=7cb08d7f3a5ea6131f4f243c2080530ac41cb293 (Tested by recompiling with makepkg and the aforementioned patch) |

The fix is released as part of linux stable 3.8.4 http://lwn.net/Articles/543660/
