After fixing #34282 I get these errors:
мар 12 21:09:05 nodelusion hp-mkuri[767]: io/hpmud/hp-mkuri.c 367: HP LaserJet 1020 requires a proprietary plugin
мар 12 21:09:05 nodelusion hp-mkuri[767]: common/utils.c 187: unable to load library libnotify.so.1: libnotify.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
мар 12 21:09:05 nodelusion hp-mkuri[767]: io/hpmud/hp-mkuri.c 271: failed to open libnotify: No such file or directory

hp-mkuri does not directly link to libnotify - as evidenced by `readelf -d`, but it seems to dlopen it.
The string "libnotify.so.1" does appear in the output of `strings /usr/bin/hp-mkuri`

The problem is that libnotify-0.7.5-1 provides only /usr/lib/libnotify.so.4 not .so.1

Arer you sure your system is full up to date (-Syu)?

Yes, of course.

Are you aware of any package that provides libnotify.so.1?
Comment by Andreas Radke (AndyRTR) - Sunday, 17 March 2013, 08:50 GMT
libnotify.so.1 is damn outdated. Any custom/AUR package that still links to it needs to be recompiled. So check your hplip plugin and recompile it or some
other custom package you use on your system. Right now I can't see a bug in our repo packages.

The bug seems pretty obvious to me... attached patch on hplip should fix it.
