could you give some information about your system? I don't have such an issue :S How many time ago did you install arch? are you using the Official Repositories' version? maybe it's a problem with old configuration files...

No, that's not the case. I just downloaded the package from [extra] and checked inside the .desktop file. It definitely has a long name.

"Name=GNU Image" is what the upstream developers decided to put in their desktop file. Please suggest any changes to them.
